Pioneer Camp, Lusaka is the most relaxing lodge around Lusaka set within 25 acres of miombo woodland. The property is surprisingly good for birds. At the centre of Pioneer Camp is the open thatched bar/restaurant or ‘Chitenge’. Hosted mainly by Alfred, this is the place to exchange tales of adventure with fellow travellers. Only 14 kms (20 mins) from the Airport or shopping centres of Arcades and Manda Hill, Pioneer is the last Oasis stopover on the way the Kafue National Park. The ideal place to start or finish your Kushiyana safari.
