Mukambi Safari Lodge & Busanga Plains Camp Mukambi Safari Lodge is situated on the banks of the Kafue river and offers a variety of activities in the park. It also runs Busanga Plains Camp in the far north of the park, which is accessible in the dry season (July/October). The 5 hours drive to the camp is one long game drive through various habitats with abundant wildlife. The plains are famous for their red lechwe, roan, huge herds of buffalo and wildebeest. The Plains’ lions are famous and cheetahs, leopards and wild dogs are spotted regularly.
